Our Yeovil Skoda team are after a new Service Driver to assist with the collection and delivery of customer vehicles, ensuring industry guidelines are followed and company standards are met at all times, paying particualr attention to customer satisfaction.

Key Objectives:
  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and care of all customer/company vehicles
    • Ensure that customers cars are washed and vacuumed thoroughly before being returned
    • Ensure that company cars are washed and vacuumed when directed by a company manager
    • Ensure that all service department vehicles are clean, serviceable and at the correct standard at all times.
    • Ensure correct measures are taken to protect the interior of the vehicle
    • Take optimum care of all customer belongings in the vehicle

  • Objective: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
    • Deliver and collect customer vehicles in an efficient and timely manner using the most direct route.
    • Drive in a manner that obeys all rules of the road and in a calm and safe manner
    • Drive customers safely to and from the Retailer as required
    • Maintain a good relationship with customers by meeting and exceeding their expectations
    • Check the preferred method of payment with the customer and collect payment as required
    • Handle dissatisfied customers calmly and bring any customer complaints to the attention of the Customer Service Controller immediately
  • Objective: Help the Retailer achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency
    • Park repaired cars in the car park in preparation for collection or delivery
    • Check the delivery log daily
    • Note any damage on vehicles being collected and bring this to the attention of the customer and the Customer Service Controller on return
    • Write clearly and legibly and document items accurately
    • Check and confirm job card details, update Customer Service Controller with anomalies and add additional items/requirements as necessary
  • Objective: Drive safely and comply with Retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines at all times
    • Ensure compliance with all health & safety and company policy and procedures
    • Drive in a safe and courteous manner at all times and report any accidents/ alleged offences to Customer Service Controller immediately
    • Ensure company vehicles are in a roadworthy condition, paying particular attention to tyres and fluid levels, and alert Customer Service Controller when a scheduled service is required
    • Operate within the law at all time
    • Undertake all other tasks and responsibilities as requested by Customer Service Controller
