A new Style of Hybrid

Honda has unveiled the latest generation of its HR-V compact SUV available with Honda’s advanced e:HEV hybrid powertrain as standard. The new HR-V combines advanced safety and technology features and hybrid efficiency, alongside a bold and sleek design and class-leading interior space.

Available from late 2021, the new HR-V model is the latest in the Honda line-up to wear the e:HEV badge following on from the refreshed CR-V and the new Jazz which launched in 2020. It increases Honda’s electrified line-up and moves further towards their goal of electrifying all of its mainstream models by 2022.

The next generation HR-V has a distinctive SUV presence with a compact coupe-inspired design. The design includes a bold integrated grille, while the body shape incorporates a long bonnet and sharper more vertical sides so there is no impact on interior space. The bonnet centre is low and flat, with a shoulder line that flows to the base of the A-pillars, projecting a sense of stability and security that further enhances the SUV aesthetic.

Clever packaging of the hybrid drivetrain means the HR-V retains its predecessor’s class-leading interior space, with four adults able to sit in maximum comfort. The interior space has a solid, premium feel with contemporary fabrics and soft-touch materials. The wide airy feeling is elevated by a new air diffusion system that creates a fresh flow of air around the driver and passengers. The new Hr-V also retains the versatile Magic Seats that offer both ‘fold-flat’ and ‘flip-up’ flexibility depending on the space required.
