2020 Audi A3 Trim Levels
The all-new Audi A3 is available in a choice of trim levels, allowing you to select your perfect driving experience complete with equipment and styling options to best suit your tastes. Tailor your driving experience to suit your individual preferences with trims ranging from the entry-level Sport trim for the Audi A3 Saloon or the brand new for 2020 entry-level Technik trim for the Sportback.
The new entry-level Technik trim for the Audi A3 Sportback includes 16” double-arm alloy wheels, LED headlights with LED daytime running light, and also features Audi Pre-sense front and pedestrian recognition as standard. Inside, the Technik is equipped with the Audi Virtual Cockpit with a 10.25” display, and MMI Navigation Plus with a 10.1” touch screen.
Sitting at the top of the new Audi A3 range is the Vorsprung trim. This top of the range trim features 19” ‘5 twin-spoke edge’ alloy wheels in anthracite black, along with a Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System featuring 3D sound.
The exterior styling of the A3 has been given a sportier feel for 2020. For the first time, the A3 will feature digital daytime-running LED headlights, which provide the A3 with a distinctive look. The front of the A3 is given a dynamic feel thanks to the introduction of large air inlets, moving around to the side of the car, this sporty feel continues with the accentuated appearance of the wheel arches which make the A3’s alloys a prominent feature. The sporty feel of the A3 is further enhanced by another design change, which is the prominent inward curve running across the side of the car, adding to the fourth-generation A3’s dynamic styling.
As well as featuring a sportier exterior, the All-New A3 also offers lightly more space than its predecessors. The new A3 is 3cm wider than before, providing a more spacious ride for passengers.
The A3’s interior is one of the most noticeable changes for 2020. A leather-wrapped sports steering wheel now comes as standard and features multifunction controls.
A high resolution 10.1” infotainment screen also now comes as standard featuring a full-colour display and touch screen. Audi has minimised the use of rotary controls on the new A3. Instead, traditional controls are replaced by a touch-sensitive wheel, adding to the interior’s sleek, sophisticated feel.
Engine and Performance
For the first time, a mild-hybrid A3 will be available, which will feed a 48-volt system. The all-new A3 features engines ranging from the entry-level 30 TFSI 1.0-litre with a top speed of 130mph and acceleration of 0-62mph in 10.6 seconds, to the Vorsprung’s 35 TFSI S Tronic 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with a top speed of 139mph offering speeds of 0-62mph in 8.4 seconds.
