The T-Roc R, Volkswagen’s exciting new sports-SUV, will make its world premiere appearance at the Geneva Motor Show in March, joining the new, facelifted Passat.
The R is the latest of the successful T-Roc line, and provides a combination of performance and lifestyle.
It boasts impressive performance data, and will feature a four-cylinder, 2.0-litre TSI engine, producing 300PS. As a result, it accelerates from 0 to 62mph in 4.9 seconds and has a limited top speed of 155mph.
The T-Roc R is equipped with 4MOTION all-wheel drive and a seven–speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox as standard, with added sports equipment included, such as lowered suspension, progressive steering and a 17-inch brake system which has only previously been seen on the Volkswagen Golf R Performance.
Its interior includes a multi-function steering wheel, updated infotainment, and white ambient lighting to create a stylish atmosphere.
The looks of the T-Roc R have been adapted to its new R pedigree. It features a new, polished silver radiator grille, side panel changes and specifically designed front and rear bumpers.
T-Roc R comes with 18-inch Spielberg alloy wheels as standard, with 19-inch Pretoria dark graphite matt alloys available as an optional extra.
Please note that UK specification will vary.
Several colours will be selectable for the T-Roc R. These include the exclusive R colour Lapiz Blue Metallic or Pure White Uni, Flash Red Uni, Turmeric Yellow Metallic, White Silver Metallic, Energetic Orange Metallic, Deep Black Pearl Effect and Indium Grey Metallic. With all colour options, the roof can be painted black.
There are plenty of other optional specifications to personalise T-Roc R, including a nappa leather package, side panels with carbon inserts and Crystal Grey decorative stitching.
There are also several wheel options to choose from, including 19-inch Pretoria alloy wheels in Dark Graphite. They come with 235/40 R19 tyres and the R-performance titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic.
